The event runs from 12 PM to 4 PM on Saturday, May 9th, 2026.

The Live Art Walk runs along Main Street from Meadow Road to Route 4. There is no start and end; artists will be creating throughout the day and throughout the route. The tour is completely self-guided, and guests are encouraged to come and go as they please.

We’re excited to feature 40 hosts and artists along a one-mile stretch of Main Street, from Meadow Road to Route 4.

The event is free and open to the public. All ages are encouraged to attend. People can walk the whole route or just enjoy a portion of it.

Visitors can park at Noah Wallace Elementary School - 2 School Street, St. Patrick’s Church - 110 Main Street, Colton Street, and on select side streets between Main Street and Garden Street. Please be mindful of signage and avoid blocking driveways or fire lanes.

Yes. There will be an Information Stand in front of the First Church of Christ (75 Main Street) where visitors can pick up a printed map and learn more about the artists and locations along the walk.

Public restrooms will be available at the First Church of Christ and Barney Library located at 75 and 71 Main Street (midway point).

Yes, there will be food trucks at the event. There are also several restaurants on the Route 4 end of Main Street including Fork & Fire, Naples Pizza, Hartford Baking Co., Starbucks, and Piccolo Arancio. On the Meadow Road side of Main Street, there are several restaurants in the Highland Park Market Plaza.

Yes. There will be “make your own art” on the lawn directly behind First Church of Christ and in front of Barney Library.
